The aircraft is on a former test site for the Royal Aircraft Corporation (RAE) at 

Oxfordshire.

The aircraft is an Avro Lancaster, a British heavy bomber 

It was widely used during the Second World War. The aircraft was built in 

In 1942, it was used for many missions, including the bombing of Germany.

The plane was found buried underground, where it was hidden at the end 

War. It was discovered during the excavation work to create a new road.

The aircraft is in relatively good condition, as it has not been dismantled or destroyed. The plane was taken to the London Museum of Antiquities, where it will be examined and presented to the public.

The discovery is historically significant, providing insight into the technology used in the Second World War. It also serves as a reminder of the victims who fell during the war.
